Admissions

Admissions

1) attend a campus visit. Choosing a school for your child is an important decision, so visit Crescent Heights to learn about its programs, students, and future. Plan your visit with an Open House or Campus Tour; campus tours are included in Open Houses but have limited availability. There are no tours or Open Houses during the summer or after the application deadline. 2) submit an inquiry. Submit an inquiry form with contact details and student information. When applications are open for the selected grade level Crescent Heights connects you with a user account and access to the application form. 3) prepare documents. Upload the required documents: Student Photograph; Student Birth Certificate; Student Immunization Record; Parent Citizenship Documentation (Canadian Birth Certificate, Permanent Resident Card, Canadian Passport, or Work/Study Visa); Proof of Address (CRA Notice of Assessment, Rental Agreement, or Utility Bill); Teacher Evaluation Form; Report Cards (Grades 1–12). The Teacher Evaluation Form should be sent to the student's current preschool or homeroom teacher, who will submit it confidentially. 4) complete an application for admission. Log in to the MySchool account and complete the application form, uploading all required documents. 5) complete the application payment. The online payment must be completed before the application is considered submitted; the non-refundable application fee is $300. 6) application review. After the completed application, documents, and payment are received, Crescent Heights begins processing the application. Do not email additional documents; if anything is missing or incorrect, the family will be contacted with resubmission instructions. 7) parent interview. After the application is processed, parents complete a brief questionnaire and receive instructions to book a virtual parent interview. It is recommended that both parents attend, and students should not be present. 8) student assessment. All students participate in an assessment session. Kindergarten applicants are assessed in a group, mock-class setting, while Grades 1–12 applicants take an exam-style assessment on the same day, aligned to grade-level learning outcomes. Local students who do not attend the main assessment day are typically placed on the waitlist; applicants living outside the area may complete their assessment virtually. Admission decisions are issued via MySchool and can include an offer of admission, a waitlist offer, or a decline of admission; all decisions are final and assessment results are not shared with the family. Kindergarten 2027 decisions begin January 25; Grades 1–12 2027 decisions begin February 8; spaces are filled on a rolling basis until all spots are confirmed.

Scholarships

Financial Assistance: Crescent Heights Academy offers personalized tuition plans for new students entering Grades 7–11 based on financial need. Eligibility requires an academically strong applicant and demonstrated financial need evaluated by a third-party service using documents such as tax returns. Applications for financial assistance are considered after a space has been offered.

Waitlist

Waitlist: Crescent Heights Academy has limited spaces and cannot accommodate all applicants. To keep the waitlist active, the student must attend the annual February assessment to ensure their information is current. Waitlisted applicants may receive offers if a space becomes available. Offers remain valid for one additional year before a new application is required. The school prioritizes waitlisted applicants when openings arise and aims to accommodate as many qualified candidates as possible.
