King's-Edgehill School is a coeducational boarding and day school on a 92-acre campus in Windsor, Nova Scotia. It serves a Junior School (grades 6–9) and a Senior School (grades 10–12) with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and certificate options, plus English Language Learning support. The school was founded in 1788 as Canada's first independent school and amalgamated in 1976 to form today's King's-Edgehill. Its campus combines historic roots with facilities including Convocation Hall, the Margaret Vair McLellan Concert Hall, the Fountain Performing Arts Centre and Studio, and on-site science laboratories. Athletic facilities include the Ted Canavan Athletic Centre, the Tanna Athletic Facilities, a swimming pool and weight rooms, with multiple outdoor playing fields. The IB curriculum, a global student body, and a broad program of arts, athletics and service give students opportunities to lead, explore and study worldwide. Notable features include the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, leadership opportunities, and a two-week ELL Summer Camp.
