Billing schedule and payment terms

- Fees are billed by semester; invoices list tuition, resource/student fees, room & board (if applicable), and any additional activity or course charges. Semester billing is the standard schedule for tuition and residence charges.

- Resource / student fee is charged in Semester 1 only; the International Fee is charged in Semester 1 for international students. Payment deadlines require semester fees to be settled before the semester start as part of standard registration and acceptance procedures.

- Early/full-year payment discounts and occasional alumni or early-application vouchers have been offered in recent schedules; specific discount amounts and deadlines are applied to the tuition portion and published with the year's billing information.

Boarding fees and residence options

- Standard full‑time room & board: CAD 6,750 per semester (CAD 13,500 per year). Room & board covers residence supervision, maintenance, keys, and daily meals.

- Part‑time / weekly residence option (student on campus during the week only): annual example price CAD 8,835 (approximately CAD 884 per month); weekend stays incur an additional per‑night charge (example: CAD 26 per night) plus meal charges when applicable.

- Additional residence charges that may be invoiced: dorm parking, laundry, lost key replacement and other incidental residence items (amounts vary by item).

Other mandatory and optional costs

- Student Activity Fee: CAD 250 (covers yearbook, on‑campus activities, faith & life events).

- Resource components: Student Activity portion CAD 250; Resource portion CAD 75 (student insurance, technology, textbook replacement) — combined resource/student fee usually shown as CAD 325 in Semester 1.

- Grade 12 graduation fee (charged in Semester 2): CAD 250.

- ESL / language support: additional ESL fees may be charged for students requiring language support; amounts are assessed case‑by‑case and invoiced when ESL support is required.

- Meals and meal plans: optional meal‑plan and individual meal pricing is available; examples used in recent documents include sample meal prices and semester meal‑plan examples (amounts vary by selection). Shuttle, field‑trip, athletic and activity fees are charged separately as required.

Refund information

- Tuition refunds are handled on a prorated basis up to published semester cut‑off dates; after those cut‑off dates many tuition and associated fees become non‑refundable. The school's international refund provisions specify tiered refund outcomes depending on the timing of written withdrawal and visa/study‑permit decisions.

- International Fee refund rules: the International Fee is charged at acceptance and refunds depend on the timing of written withdrawal or visa refusal as set out in the international acceptance terms; earlier written withdrawal (well before semester start) has historically been eligible for larger refunds, while withdrawals after semester start generally forfeit the International Fee.

Fee payment options

- Commonly accepted payment methods: electronic bank transfer / e‑transfer to the school accounting contact, cheque or money order payable to LCBI, and international wire/bank transfers for overseas payments. The school's accounts office coordinates payment arrangements and banking details for wire transfers.

- Credit‑card payments for tuition are handled case‑by‑case by the business/accounts office; credit‑card acceptance is more commonly used for donations or retail (Bison gear) via third‑party processors. Parents should arrange specific payment method details through the school accountant or business office.

Practical summary for parents (what you will be billed for and when)

- Expect semester invoices that itemize: semester tuition, the Semester‑1 resource/student fee, room & board (for boarders), any International Fee (for international students), and activity or course‑specific charges. Semester charges are the standard billing units; residence charges follow the same semester schedule unless a part‑time option is selected.

- Plan for one‑time and annual extras such as application/registration fees, graduation charges, ESL support (if required), travel/shuttle costs, and optional meal‑plan selections, which will be invoiced as applicable.
