The Lycée Claudel Library (CDI) welcomes students from PS to Terminale and is supported by two librarians who help with reading selections and organise exhibitions and competitions. The campus provides on-site facilities to support learning and wellbeing, including library access and health services. The scientific pole includes four laboratories fully equipped with professional equipment and a digital science and technology room to support practical science work.
The PE program offers a broad range of sports including basketball, soccer, badminton, volleyball, gymnastics, dance and creative arts, athletics, swimming, ice skating, STEP, table tennis and circus arts. The Sports Association also offers additional activities such as badminton, soccer, basketball, volleyball, circus arts and gymnastic acrobatics for middle and high school students.
Life and Earth Sciences SVT is taught in an adapted environment equipped with laboratory material and computers on each table with various software and digital tools. Extracurricular activities are a source of well-being and an important vehicle for the development of children's physical and mental health. They allow students to discover and develop talents, socialize and contribute to academic success. Languages include Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish across grade levels. Arts and culture offerings include Plastic Arts, theatre and writing clubs, music and dance, and various workshops. Music includes private lessons and group lessons in instruments such as cello, piano and violin, and an orchestra and choir are available. Coding and robotics include Scratch Jr, 3D design and LEGO robotics, while science clubs cover topics in science and mathematics. The Sports Association provides additional options such as basketball, volleyball and other team sports.
Lycée Claudel is a French-language international school in Ottawa, affiliated with the AEFE network and teaching the French public education system to students aged 3 to 18. Senior cycle follows the Baccalaureate from Seconde to Terminale, with nine specializations including HGGSP, HLP, SES, Cinéma audiovisuel, NSI, SPC, SVT and Mathématiques. The International French Baccalaureate (BFI) is available for students aiming at North American universities. English, Spanish and Latin are offered, with orientation sessions to help students choose university programs.
