The Lycée international de Calgary offers a dual-curriculum education for preschool through Grade 12, combining the French Ministry of National Education program with Alberta Education. It is an independent bilingual school and AEFE member in the Altadore neighbourhood. Students study in French and English, and in high school earn both the French Baccalaureate and the Alberta High School Diploma, enabling pathways to Canadian and international tertiary study. The school began in 1966 as Lycée Louis Pasteur and joined AEFE in 1990; it adopted its current name in 2021. A new kindergarten building with eight classrooms and a gym opened in January 2025. Facilities include modern bilingual classrooms, a bilingual library, an indoor climbing wall, a gym, a sports field, and a renovated maternelle building. The International Program welcomes students from France and AEFE schools, with hosting arranged through the Canada Homestay Network. Partnerships with Francophone institutions connect Calgary's Francophone community.
