History

Lynn-Rose School began in 1997, founded by Tara Bullock and Marie Attard to offer personalized, dynamic education through a child-centered approach. Under their leadership, the school evolved to meet diverse learner needs while upholding core values of integrity, innovation, and community. From 1997 to 2013, Lynn-Rose expanded to become a leading primary school in Mississauga. In 2014, Lynn-Rose attained IB World School status, introducing the Primary Years Programme and the Middle Years Programme. In 2018, Lynn-Rose opened Lynn-Rose College, extending its program to Grade 12, and in 2021 the school joined the International Schools Partnership (ISP).

Community

Lynn-Rose maintains an active, connected community through regular news updates and campus events. Students participate in national and international competitions, such as HOSA-Canada Nationals, where Lynn-Rose seniors excel in Medical Terminology, Mental Health Promotion, Biomedical Debate, and Forensic Science. The school also hosts events like the Guardians Games in partnership with Special Olympics Ontario and LETR, reinforcing inclusion through sport. The LRS News section highlights achievements in chess, guidance department Q&A, and alumni stories, reflecting a broad, engaged community.

Located in Mississauga, Lynn-Rose School operates two campuses: Heights Campus (Pre-K–Grade 6) at 7215 Millcreek Dr and College Campus (Grade 7–12) at 7310 Rapistan Ct. The school serves about 325 students from age 3 to 18, with a 1:16 teacher–student ratio. Lynn-Rose blends Canadian and International standards within an IB World School framework. The Lower School follows the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP); the Upper School integrates the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) with a university-preparatory pathway toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, and AP courses are offered. Since 1997 the school has emphasized inquiry-based learning, social-emotional development, and personalized learning paths. Lynn-Rose joined the International Schools Partnership (ISP) in 2021, offering ISP International Learning Opportunities with cross-cultural experiences and partnerships with 84 schools worldwide. The campus features engaging classrooms and specialist facilities, with a 360° Virtual Campus Tour and regular Open House events to meet educators and students globally today.
