Co-curricular options include Dungeons & Dragons Club, Scholars Cup, Debate, Dance, Ensembles (string, band, choir), and Athletics Teams. Clubs are driven by student interest and anyone can pitch an idea to the Co-Curricular Council. Mulgrave Robotics began as part of an initiative to foster a culture of engineering and STEM, with Design Robotics and other LEAP options such as drones, textiles, and robotics. Mulgrave also participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition as rookies, expanding opportunities in competitive STEM.
Junior School Arts covers Visual Arts, Dance, and Music, with co-curricular music opportunities offered before and after school, including choirs (Grade 2+), bands (Grade 5+), and string ensembles (Grade 4+). In Middle School, Visual Arts includes field trips to galleries and an Artist in Residence program, while Performing Arts explores music, drama, and dance, culminating in Artsapalooza. Design and Drama/Film offerings in Middle School and Senior School expand opportunities, with Design Robotics, Design General, ZOOM Film Festival, Mulgrave Film Studio, Theatre, and Senior School Productions. In the Senior School, DP Visual Arts, Film, Theatre, and Music are supported by specialist spaces such as the Upper School Design and Makerspace, Theatre, Black Box, Film Studio, and Dance Studio, with ensembles and annual performances.
Mandarin, French, and Spanish are offered in the Senior School, with Mandarin available in Mandarin A and Mandarin B Beginner streams to welcome newcomers. The Mandarin B Beginner class introduces language with cultural context, and Mandarin B Regular/Extended pathways prepare students for higher levels. The Upper School Chinese Department runs the Chinese Magazine Club once a week, publishing content in Origins magazine.

Service learning is central to Mulgrave, guided by the CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) programme that involves artistic pursuits, leadership, sports, and community service. The Student Strategic Leadership Team (Grades 10–12) provides opportunities to enrich the Mulgrave community through service, leadership, role modelling, and mentoring. On-campus emergency and service initiatives include the Mulgrave Emergency Response Team (MERT) and a range of community projects such as GEx, with partnerships and events that extend beyond the school.
Leadership and service are integrated through the CAS programme and a Student Strategic Leadership Team that aims to amplify student voice across divisions. The Co-Curricular Council enables students to pitch ideas for new clubs, fostering leadership and project ownership. Additional leadership experiences include structured service activities (MERT, GEx) and a student-centered leadership model that encourages mentorship and collaboration.
Mulgrave emphasizes wellbeing through sport and physical activity, with Titans teams competing in NSSSAA, ISAA, and provincial championships across fall, winter, and spring seasons. The athletics programme includes a variety of sports, from soccer and basketball to cross country, golf, and alpine skiing, with a history of competitive success. Outdoor Education features Grade 10 Camps, winter camping with tiered levels, and student-led adventures organized by an Advisory group, linking physical health with real-world experiences. Early Years athletics focus on gross motor development and include the annual Terry Fox Run, Jump Rope for Heart, and Sports Day.
Mulgrave School is a private day school in Canada offering the International Baccalaureate continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) and Canadian Curriculum. The school serves ages 3 to 18, with Early Years (PK3–K), Junior School (1–5), Middle School (6–9), and Senior School (10–12). DP offers English, Chinese, Persian*, and French*. Mulgrave emphasizes inquiry-based, student-centred learning that develops critical thinking, global understanding, and communication.
