Bus Service

For the Southpointe Summer Programme, bus service is available on two routes: Richmond (Lansdowne Mall, 5300 No. 3 Road) and Surrey (32nd & King George Blvd, Rona Parking Lot, 3165 King George Blvd). Morning pickup is at 8:20 am with arrival at 8:50 am; afternoon departure is at 4:15 pm with drop-off at 4:45 pm. The service costs $90 per week and requires a full-week registration with a minimum of five riders; there is no mid-day bus and buses accommodate a 9:00 am camp start or a 4:00 pm dismissal.

- New Student Enrolment Fee: CAD 5,000 per student.

Annual tuition (2026/27) — full year amounts by year group

- Kindergarten to Grade 10: CAD 27,300 per year.
- Grade 11 to Grade 12: CAD 28,500 per year.
- International students: CAD 52,300 per year. International student fees are due and payable by April 15, 2026. Students who do not qualify for the BC Government grant are assessed an additional fee of CAD 3,900 in lieu of the grant.

Per-term / instalment detail (tuition-only examples, based on the school payment schedule)

- Initial payment on continuous enrolment: CAD 5,000 (applies to all families).
- After the CAD 5,000 initial payment, the remaining tuition balance is payable in equal 20% instalments of the contract balance on the scheduled dates (see Billing schedule). Using tuition-only figures:
- Kindergarten–Grade 10 (annual tuition CAD 27,300): remaining balance = CAD 22,300; each 20% instalment = CAD 4,460 per instalment. Instalment dates: Mar 15, 2026; Apr 15, 2026; Sep 8, 2026; Oct 1, 2026; Nov 2, 2026 (final balance).
- Grade 11–12 (annual tuition CAD 28,500): remaining balance = CAD 23,500; each 20% instalment = CAD 4,700 per instalment. Instalment dates as above.
- International students (annual tuition CAD 52,300): remaining balance = CAD 47,300; each 20% instalment = CAD 9,460 per instalment. Note: international student fees are due and payable by April 15, 2026.

New enrolment and ongoing deposit requirements

- Education Investment Deposit: CAD 15,000 one-time per family, due upon enrolment. This deposit is used for the Society's operational or capital requirements.
- All deposits (including the New Student Enrolment Fee and the Education Investment Deposit) are non-refundable.

Required & other fees (mandatory and frequently recurring additional costs)

- Dining Programme Fee: CAD 2,000 per student (paid via the regular instalment payments with remaining balance due in November).
- Outdoor Education (Project Discover): Grade 4–5: CAD 465 per student; Grade 6–11: CAD 795 per student. These fees are mandatory and non‑refundable if the student does not participate.
- Grade 12 Grad Retreat: CAD 795 per student.
- Graduation Fee (Grade 12): CAD 850 per student.
- Bus Fees (where applicable): approximately CAD 1,100–CAD 2,100 per student depending on route. A CAD 300 non‑refundable deposit is required to secure bus service. This fee applies only to students using the Southpointe Academy bus service.
- Uniforms: families purchase uniforms directly from the supplier (Top Ten Schoolwear); uniform pricing is set by that supplier.

Sibling discount

- Second sibling: 5% discount on tuition.
- Third sibling: 10% discount on tuition.
- Fourth sibling: 15% discount on tuition. Discounts apply to tuition fees and are applied to the second and subsequent siblings in birth order.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Initial payment: CAD 5,000 upon continuous enrolment.
- Scheduled instalments: March 15, 2026 — 20% of the contract (based on total contract minus the CAD 5,000 initial payment); April 15, 2026 — 20% of the contract; September 8, 2026 — 20% of the contract; October 1, 2026 — 20% of the contract; November 2, 2026 — balance of fees (final instalment). Balances shown are calculated after the initial CAD 5,000 payment and may vary with sibling discounts, bus fees, dining fees, and other charges.
- Interest on overdue balances: 3% per month will be charged on all overdue balances. All deposits are non‑refundable. Should a family withdraw a student after April 30, 2026, the remaining tuition balance becomes due and payable immediately.

Boarding / residential fees

- Boarding is not applicable; Southpointe is an independent day school. No boarding fees are charged.

Refund information

- All deposits are non‑refundable. If a student is withdrawn after April 30, 2026, the remaining tuition balance becomes due immediately. Certain mandatory program fees (for example, outdoor education) are not refundable if the student does not participate.

Fee payment options and related charges

- Accepted payment methods for tuition: cheque and credit card. Cash is not accepted. All credit card payments are subject to a processing fee. Overdue balances incur interest at 3% per month. International student fees have a stated due date of April 15, 2026.

Southpointe Academy is a private K–12 independent day school in Delta, British Columbia, offering the International Baccalaureate Continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) alongside the Canadian curriculum for students aged 5 to 17. Opened in 2000, the campus serves Kindergarten to Grade 12 with a focus on inquiry-based learning and intercultural understanding. The school delivers all three IB programmes from Kindergarten through Grade 12, a unique feature in Delta and rare in Canada. An expansion will add over 70,000 square feet of academic space, including 26 classrooms, science labs, art studios, multi-media and music spaces, collaboration hubs, a fitness centre and a second gym. Facilities include Hodgins Library, a dining hall with bay views, and athletic facilities used by Titan Athletics for Grades 3–12.
