Academic and Intellectual

The school offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum for Kindergarten through Grade 12, providing a globally minded framework that integrates service and hands-on learning within a community. Arts and Creative

Cultural and Language

Model United Nations is offered in Middle School, providing opportunities to engage with global issues and diverse perspectives. Social and Hobbies

Junior School clubs and co-curriculars include STEM, Public Speaking, Baking, and Golf, offered before and after school. Senior School clubs cover a wide range of interests, including Arts Council, Environmental Council, Theatre Club, and Mental Health Advocacy.

Community and Service

Project Discover is an experiential outdoor education program for Grades 4–12, with activities like camping, hiking, canoeing, and ecological studies. The Duke of Edinburgh Award is an internationally recognized program that acknowledges youth for community service, skills, fitness, and adventure across four categories. Our Global Engagement and Service Learning program provides national and international travel to deepen intercultural understanding, and Leadership Councils organize spirit events and awareness campaigns.

Leadership and Professional

Leadership Councils organize spirit events and awareness campaigns through Island Teams, fostering connection and community. The Senior School has a Student Council that leads school‑wide initiatives and campaigns. University Counselling supports students as they explore post‑secondary options and prepare for university and beyond.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Titan Athletics offers over 55 teams for Grades 3–12, in addition to the Physical & Health Education curriculum. The Senior School also includes clubs such as the Mental Health Advocacy Club, reflecting a commitment to wellbeing and personal development. Southpointe Academy is a private K–12 independent day school in Delta, British Columbia, offering the International Baccalaureate Continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) alongside the Canadian curriculum for students aged 5 to 17. Opened in 2000, the campus serves Kindergarten to Grade 12 with a focus on inquiry-based learning and intercultural understanding. The school delivers all three IB programmes from Kindergarten through Grade 12, a unique feature in Delta and rare in Canada. An expansion will add over 70,000 square feet of academic space, including 26 classrooms, science labs, art studios, multi-media and music spaces, collaboration hubs, a fitness centre and a second gym. Facilities include Hodgins Library, a dining hall with bay views, and athletic facilities used by Titan Athletics for Grades 3–12. Extracurriculars emphasize service, engagement, leadership, and a broad arts and STEM program, with opportunities such as Project Discover, Duke of Edinburgh, Model United Nations and music, theatre and robotics.
