Boarding Arrangements

The school is a day school; boarding is not offered.

Uniform Requirement

The school has three uniform categories: Formal Uniform (assemblies and special events), Academic Uniform (everyday wear), and Athletic Uniform. Items include white-collared shirts, burgundy blazers, burgundy cardigans, tartan tunics or skirts, crested polo shirts, and Stratford Hall branded sweatshirts; uniforms are supplied through InSchoolwear.

Food Options

Lunch is optional and provided by Calhoun's Catering for Kindergarten through Grade 12. Registration is online via munchalunch; orders must be placed by noon the day before.

House System

The school has a house system with House Spirit Day and a House Shirt.

Governance and Ownership

The Stratford Hall Board of Governors is elected by the Stratford Hall Society and oversees the school's strategy, budget, and appointment of the Head of School. The Stratford Hall Foundation holds major capital assets and conducts capital fundraising. Both entities operate under the British Columbia Societies Act as not-for-profit organizations.

Stratford Hall is an independent K–12 IB World School in Vancouver, Canada, offering the International Baccalaureate Continuum. The Primary Years Programme runs Kindergarten to Grade 5, the Middle Years Programme runs Grade 6 to 10, and the Diploma Programme runs Grade 11 to 12. As an IB World School, Stratford Hall emphasizes inquiry-based learning and global perspectives across its curriculum. The campus comprises three buildings with junior and senior spaces, two gymnasiums, and libraries equipped with BrainPOP and TumbleBook Library for the Junior School and a catalogue for the Senior School. The IDEA Lab supports interdisciplinary design, engineering and STEM, linking spaces and curriculum to innovation. The school maintains a strong after-school and camp program, extensive co-curricular activity, and an athletics program that competes in the ISEA. The school opened a fourth building in 2018 and celebrated 25 years in 2025. Students engage in service and leadership across grade levels.
