UNISUS is an IB World School located in Summerland, British Columbia, Canada. The campus is a gated 17-acre site with a state-of-the-art security system and includes on-site boarding. UNISUS offers four Scholar-Athlete academies: Hockey Academy, Snowsports Academy, Motorsports Academy and Soccer Academy. The Scholar-Athlete program integrates athletics with academics, including holistic athlete development such as physical strength and conditioning, mental wellbeing, nutrition, and injury prevention. The program includes individualized training plans and performance reports supported by analytics and video. The Okanagan region provides access to winter sports and outdoor training near Apex Mountain Resort. Soccer training includes collaboration with Everton Football Club.
UNISUS offers multiple graduation pathways: the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) and the British Columbia Dogwood Diploma. The Senior School offers the IB Diploma Programme in Grades 11-12, with a dual diploma option: all IB graduates also receive the Dogwood. The program is delivered in small, personalized classes within an inquiry-driven IB framework, with a focus on Outdoor Education, Technology and Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. English Language Learning supports non-native speakers with English-instruction in mainstream classes and a dedicated ELL program. Spanish is taught as a second language, with options in French and Mandarin through the Pamoja platform in Grades 11-12 (additional cost), and a bilingual IB Diploma is possible through self-study of a first language.
