BNDS International Department offers three international curricula: A-Level (AL), AP, and the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). AL is a three-year program delivering Cambridge International Examinations certificates alongside the Beijing high school diploma, with courses across languages, mathematics, sciences, economics, and the arts. AP and IBDP provide broad college-preparatory options; AP covers languages, sciences, social sciences, and arts, while IBDP comprises six subject groups and core elements TOK, CAS, and Extended Essay. The department supports a robust extracurricular ecosystem with 140+ international competition teams and 187 student-led clubs.
AL includes Art & Design; AP offers AP Art-2D Design and AP Art-3D Design, AP Music Theory, Digital Music, Orchestra, Guitar, Drama, Photography, and Choir; IBDP includes Arts within the six subject groups (including Music and Visual Arts in the Arts group).
BNDS teaches multiple languages across AL, AP, and IB DP. AL includes English Language and English Literature, Spanish, German, and French. AP includes English Language and Writing, English Literature and Writing, Spanish, German, French, and Japanese. IB DP includes Chinese A Language and Literature, English A, and English B.
There are 187 student-led clubs. The department operates 140+ international competition teams, offering students avenues for engagement beyond the classroom.
IBDP core includes Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), and Extended Essay. The Growth Platform invites students to influence the community through passion-driven initiatives, and career planning is framed as a journey of self-discovery to develop professional skills.

Beijing National Day School (北京市十一学校) is a middle-and-high school established in 1952 and located in Haidian District with two campuses. The school site covers 234 mu with about 160,000 square metres of buildings and around 5,000 students across the two campuses. Its International Department was founded in June 2004 and runs three parallel university-preparatory tracks: Cambridge A-Level, Advanced Placement (AP), and the IB Diploma Programme. The international programme lists roughly 50 Chinese and 71 foreign teachers and reports a teacher–student ratio of 1:6.
