Facilities Overview

The campus covers 38.5 acres and serves students from grades 7 through 12. It is a public boarding high school with over 4,600 students. The International Department was founded in June 2004 and offers three international curricula: A-Level, AP, and the IB Diploma Programme. The campus supports both national and international programs on site.

The department has more than 50 Chinese teachers and 70 foreign teachers, with a teacher–student ratio of 1:6. 96% of BNDS graduates are admitted to top 50 universities and top 30 liberal arts colleges. BNDS has more than 140 international competition teams and 187 student-run clubs.

BNDS has 187 student-run clubs and over 140 international competition teams. The International Department maintains sister-school relationships with more than 40 high schools in the United States, Canada, Germany, and France, and organizes international exchange activities such as Foreign Cultural Day.

Beijing National Day School (北京市十一学校) is a middle-and-high school established in 1952 and located in Haidian District with two campuses. The school site covers 234 mu with about 160,000 square metres of buildings and around 5,000 students across the two campuses. Its International Department was founded in June 2004 and runs three parallel university-preparatory tracks: Cambridge A-Level, Advanced Placement (AP), and the IB Diploma Programme. The international programme lists roughly 50 Chinese and 71 foreign teachers and reports a teacher–student ratio of 1:6.
