QAIS offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11–12, with the DP core including the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS). The Amerasia Dream Lab provides a robotics and design space where students work on stage design, photography, and student-led art clubs, using tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and other fabrication equipment. The DP framework emphasizes inquiry, research, and global perspectives to prepare students for university study. The school runs an after-school program for Grades K–12 twice per Fall and Spring, offering activities across athletics, arts, robotics, service, personal hobbies, and wellbeing.
QAIS provides Music, Visual Arts, Drama, and Film as core elements of its arts education. QAIS promotes healthy lifestyles through a broad sports and athletics program, including volleyball, basketball, football, table tennis, and badminton via the Qingdao International Sports Network. QAIS (Qingdao Amerasia International School) is a private, not-for-profit international school in Qingdao that serves students from 18 months to 18 years old.
