Also, all Early Childhood applicants must be toilet trained before their first day, and class placement is based on educational background and the child's age as of October 1.

MSB maintains a waiting‑list system and gives priority to certain groups, including returning students, siblings, applicants for full‑day classes, those previously enrolled in Montessori, and applicants who were on the previous year's waiting list.
