Character development is taught, reinforced, fostered, and modeled to help students and families shape their character. The six pillars of character are taught, with the meaning of each pillar explained. Standards of acceptable behavior are reinforced at home, and boundaries are set with consistently applied consequences. Values are promoted regularly, emphasizing the positive outcomes of ethical behavior. The world is acknowledged as imperfect, but actions and behavior can improve it. The pillars of character are modeled through the actions and words of the school community.
