History

Academia Teocali is a private educational institution founded in 1982. It was the first bilingual school in Guanacaste and is recognized by the Ministry of Public Education. It is currently accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization, enabling it to offer the IB Diploma Programme and to meet the requirements for Costa Rica's National Diploma. The school emphasizes the development of individuals for integration into the international community with tools for harmonious coexistence and professional excellence, including critical thinking, analytical thinking, global thinking, problem solving, decision making, self-regulation, autonomous learning, communication, conflict resolution, and emotional education. Values include integrity, harmonious coexistence, honesty, solidarity, and social sensitivity.

Academia Teocali is a private educational institution in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, founded in 1982 as the first bilingual school. The campus delivers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in a bilingual English–Spanish environment, serving students from preschool through grade 12.
