In our music program, students explore creativity through diverse instruments, ensembles, and genres. Our music program is an unforgettable experience. Music education at Franz Liszt Schule spans more than 15 years, generating pedagogical, recreational, and performance-based experiences from preschool through the International Baccalaureate at the higher level in this subject. The program follows Humanist principles, valuing prior knowledge and learning rhythms, and positioning music as a fundamental space for human development and as a vital intelligence to stimulate other skills. In primary, students are introduced to a wide range of instruments and ensembles, including piano, guitar, singing, violin, viola, cello, bass, percussion, flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, French horn and trombone; in secondary, ensembles further develop and support the IB music program.
Franz Liszt Schule is an international private school in Santa Ana, Costa Rica, offering education from ages 3 to 18. It is affiliated with Germany's Auslandsschulwesen and follows the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in its upper grades. The school describes a tri-lingual program in German, English and Spanish and weaves music throughout the curriculum. Music education is supported by the Conservatorio de Música and ensembles such as the Franz Liszt Choir and Franz Liszt Orchestra.
