Lincoln School participates in Association of American Schools of Central America (AASCA) competitions in sports and academic events across Central America, with varsity teams and, occasionally, junior varsity teams. The school also participates in Harvard Model United Nations, sending a delegation of about 20 experienced high school students to the conference in Boston. Educational Outings include NEIA - Babson programs, which provide middle school and high school students with experiences designed to develop leadership, entrepreneurial thinking, and practical life skills.
Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) is a consolidated program across all levels, with an Arts Center since 2013 and a theatre with a capacity of 296 seats and state-of-the-art equipment to support artistic and cultural activities. The program includes theater, visual arts, and music classes, with a chamber orchestra and a symphonic band in both Middle School and High School, together forming a large symphonic ensemble and the Lincoln Big Band. The VPA department also promotes culture and the arts inside and outside the school through competitions and festivals.
Cultural experiences include cultural trips to France, Peru, and the Yucatán Peninsula, with the France trip pairing a French course at the Centre International d'Antibes with a tour of Paris, Normandy, and Brittany. Harvard Model United Nations is an annual conference in Boston with a delegation from Lincoln of around 20 high school students. LEAD Conference and GruLAC offer leadership and environmental/social-focus opportunities for middle and high school students, with GruLAC held in Bogotá, Colombia.

Lincoln School in San Jose is a Costa Rican non‑profit international school serving students aged 4 to 18. The seven‑hectare campus in Santo Domingo de Heredia features a central plaza, flexible libraries, an Arts Center with theatre and visual arts classes, four gyms, and a soccer field. In 2023, the Lincoln Innovation Center (LINC) opened to support project‑based learning and prototyping. The school offers the International Baccalaureate across its program: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and a candidate for the Career‑related Programme (CP).
