The school offers a comprehensive American curriculum for KG4 through Grade 12 and an International Baccalaureate program in the last two years of secondary school. The Innovator, the student newspaper, provides opportunities to develop journalism skills by investigating, writing, editing, and publishing articles. The School Counselor supports university applications as part of the college-preparatory program.
Elementary and middle school students participate in arts-related after-school activities, including AISC Choir for Grades 3-5. After-school offerings include Drama Club, Mosaics Club, Candle Making and Decoration Club, and other arts activities, with opportunities to audition for plays and engage in technical theatre. The drama and arts offerings include set design and costume creation as part of theatre production.
PlayLearn Greek Club teaches Greek to younger students through games, dancing, cooking, and Cyprus customs. Greek language classes for native speakers are included in after-school language programming. Cultural heritage is explored through a whole-school initiative to understand Cyprus culture and promote international-mindedness.
Middle School and High School Running Club promotes fitness with regular training. Cross Country and Track and Field Club for Grades 3-5 provides outdoor running opportunities. Candle Making and Decoration Club, Mosaics Club, Drama Club, and Eco Club offer creative and social outlets.
The Room Parent Volunteer Program and annual events such as the Halloween Event and International Food Festival involve families and the wider school community. Healthy Living Activities are organized for the community. Parents are welcome to volunteer through PASNET. The school also partners with Hope For Children Anti-Bullying Program.
The Middle School and High School Student Councils take on leadership roles in designing events and activities to build school spirit and a sense of community. Toastmasters International is featured to develop leadership and communication skills. Student Government is part of the co-curricular activities program.

American International School in Cyprus is a private, coeducational college-preparatory school in central Nicosia serving students aged 3 to 18. The school follows an American curriculum aligned to CCSS and NGSS in elementary years, AERO social studies standards, and Virginia SOL standards, with the final two high school years offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The campus covers 10,000 square meters and houses a library with 14,000 volumes, a computer lab, and a Lego/Computing Robotics classroom, plus a theatre/assembly hall, art studios, two music rooms, and a 125-seat cafeteria.
