History

Cairo English School opened in 2006 with 130 students and now has over 1,500 students aged 3 to 17. The school sits on a purpose-built campus in New Cairo and provides a British-based international education. CES is a member of Esol Education, a group of nine American and British schools across six countries and three continents. It is an IB World School authorized to deliver the IB Diploma and is a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and British Schools in the Middle East (BSME); it is British Schools Offshore (BSO) inspected and has the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.

Cairo English School (CES) is an international school in Mirage City, New Cairo, Egypt, offering a British-based international education for students aged 3 to 18. The curriculum blends the English National Curriculum with Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge A Levels and the IB Diploma Programme for older students. CES serves Foundation Stage, Primary and Secondary on a 42,000-square-metre campus. It is part of the ESOL Education network and is an IB World School authorized to deliver the IB Diploma. The school is a member of the Council of International Schools and the British Schools in the Middle East, and is inspected by British Schools Offshore.
