It provides phonics, literacy and numeracy support, with guidance to best support the student in class by the teacher or teaching assistant. Dyslexia screening and language assessments are provided. Support is delivered through push‑ins and pull‑outs, with differentiation integrated into curriculum planning. The school identifies and assesses students' needs promptly and implements an education plan for each supported student.
Primary ESL programmes include Parallel Literacy 1, Parallel Literacy 2, ESL Support, English, and In Class ESL Support. Secondary ESL Services offer limited but individually tailored additional English support for students whose English is below the level of peers; at KS3 this can involve three ESL lessons per week, with potential adjustment by timetable needs, and at KS4 ESL support may replace an IGCSE elective in urgent cases.

Cairo English School (CES) is an international school in Mirage City, New Cairo, Egypt, offering a British-based international education for students aged 3 to 18.
