The school has been serving the community for more than 35 years. The school is part of Groupe Scolaire Oasis – Zahraa El Maadi in Cairo, Egypt. Positive Discipline has been a core approach since 2015/2016, and it became a Positive Discipline Lab School in 2018. Oasis has hosted a sequence of PD-focused initiatives, including a PD workshop with Dr. Jane Nelsen in October 2017, the Positive Discipline Empowered Youth Forum, an evaluation by Helwan University, and ongoing collaboration with the Positive Discipline Association and CBCI initiatives.
The Student Council is an essential organ in school life, representing learners' ideas to the school management and the community. Major productions combining theater, song and dance are presented at the Cairo Opera House. News and events include SharkTank, Breast Cancer Awareness, and Aladdin at the Cairo Opera House. The Oasis community maintains a long-standing partnership with the Egyptian International School in El Marag since 2014 as part of an IB and Positive Discipline collaboration. Since 2024, the school has been spreading Positive Discipline to other schools, with new partners joining in 2025.
75 hours of Parent Workshop are offered annually. Parental support from birth is provided through workshops. Oasis Hub provides a platform for educators and parents with a focus on professional development. The Oasis Hub serves educators and parents, with a stated aim to empower the learning community.
Ecole Oasis Internationale is a Cairo-based international school serving ages 3 to 18, and is part of Groupe Scolaire Oasis - Zahraa El Maadi with a history spanning more than 35 years.
