Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

Investment in a promising future. Our multilingual education and the Abibac double qualification open doors to universities and careers worldwide. We educate our students to become responsible, team‑oriented, highly qualified, and cosmopolitan individuals. We treat every child as an individual and support their development so they achieve above‑average examination results and reach their full potential. We offer enrollment for Kindergarten, Primary School, and Secondary School. The Kindergarten and Primary School are on the Eurocampus in Colomiers, and the Secondary School operates at the Lycée International Victor Hugo in Colomiers, with cross‑school collaboration. Enrollment is possible year‑round for all sections; we encourage early registration at the start of the calendar year for the following school year. Enrollment links and documents can be downloaded: Kindergarten (Aufnahme KG), Primary School (Anmeldung GS), and Secondary School (Anmeldung WS); enrollment is processed directly with the respective school sections. Once the intake has been reviewed and confirmed, the secretariat will send the enrollment link. Required upload documents include: one photo (jpeg); birth certificate (pdf); identity card (pdf); vaccination certificate or medical certificate showing vaccination compliance in France (pdf); the last report card for primary or the last three years of reports for secondary (pdf); and proof of payment of enrollment fees or third‑party cost coverage (pdf). Certificates available include Haupt- or Realschulabschluss, the Deutsche Internationale Abitur, and the Abibac (double Abitur/Baccalauréat), providing study and career opportunities worldwide. The bilingual Kindergarten is open from age 2. We offer after‑school care options outside regular hours: early care from 7:30 and late care until 18:15, with Wednesday afternoon Club Ameli available. We provide language support for students whose mother tongue is not German so they can complete the German educational pathway. The Kindergarten is recognized as an Ecole Maternelle under French schooling criteria. Guest students can enroll for at least three months, a semester, or up to a full school year, typically at the start of the school year; guest students follow standard enrollment conditions and fees, and lodging must be arranged locally as DST has no boarding facility. Discounts are available; more details are in the fee overview. Entry is possible for international students up to the start of 11th grade, subject to subject availability. Abibac provides access to higher education in France, with graduates having opportunities comparable to Baccalauréat holders. We offer two tuition‑fee options: Option A (reduced tuition) and Option B (employer contribution). Option A covers reduced tuition with scaled monthly payments and enrollment fees; Option B covers standard tuition with employer contributions. Additional services include early care, after‑care until 18:15, Wednesday Club Ameli, and Kantine. An annual administration fee per family of 250 € applies. Payment terms and the full fee schedule are provided by the school.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

We offer reduced tuition options as scholarships. Option A provides reduced tuition (monthly amounts shown with reduced rates for the Kindergarten and for Grades 1–12, plus enrollment fees). Option B allows employer involvement to cover all or part of the tuition (monthly amounts shown for Kindergarten and Grades 1–12, plus enrollment fees). Additional services such as Early Care, After‑School Care (until 18:15), Wednesday Club Ameli, and Kantine are available as add‑on options, with corresponding fees. An annual administration fee of 250 € per family applies. Details and eligibility are published in the school's fee overview.

Deutsche Schule Toulouse is a private German international school located in Colomiers near Toulouse, operating on two campuses: the Eurocampus for Kindergarten and Primary and the Lycée International Victor Hugo for Secondary. Founded in 1973, it is KMK-recognised and part of the network of German schools abroad, with Exzellente Deutsche Auslandsschule status and support from the Federal Foreign Office. The school follows a German curriculum taught in German from Kindergarten through Abitur, with the Abibac German-French dual diploma available. English is taught from Grade 5 to 12 and French from Grade 1 to 12 at three levels, with History and Geography taught in French from Grade 8 as part of Abibac. A bilingual Kindergarten and a tri-lingual approach in higher years (German, French, English) support intercultural learning. Digital learning is embedded from primary level via Moodle and a school library; cross-campus cooperation and intercultural exchange are integral. Graduation results show a 100% pass rate since 2011.
