Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition fees are billed and due at the start of each academic year. Payment may be made in a single annual payment, in three instalments, or by ten instalments (monthly-style). Any instalment option is requested at billing.
- Any quarter (or term) that has been started is payable in full. Late payments may incur recovery costs which are charged to the family. A deposit for the following academic year is requested at the end of the second term. A sibling discount (sliding scale) applies when more than one child from the same family is enrolled.
Boarding / accommodation
- Boarding is not applicable to the school day schedule: the school operates as a day school with daily opening and closing hours (school day schedule and supervised after-school times are provided). No boarding programme is offered.
Other costs and regular additional fees
- School meal (organic catering) — per day: EUR 9.70.
- Lunch box (served, cutlery provided) — per day: EUR 4.90.
- After-school supervised study / evening attendance (16:45–18:00) — charged per session: EUR 8.00 (any attended session is charged).
- Extracurricular clubs and workshops — fees vary by activity and are charged in addition to tuition. Transport, special outings or specific materials may incur additional charges depending on the activity.
Refund and cancellation terms
- Registration fees and any deposit paid are retained by the school in the event of cancellation (non-refundable). Any term or quarter already started remains due in full on withdrawal.
Fee payment options and methods
- Available billing frequencies: annual payment, three instalments at the start of the year, or ten instalments. Monthly automatic bank transfer has been used as a payment method for instalments. Families should follow the school's enrolment paperwork for the selected instalment plan and the requested payment method.
Notes on discounts and financial assistance
- A degressive (sliding) tuition scale applies for families with more than one child enrolled. The school also offers limited scholarships or school financial help that may be granted after examination of a family file.
École Galilée is a private bilingual international school in Paris, established in 2010, located at 71 rue Chardon Lagache in the 16th arrondissement. It serves ages 3 to 15, offering Kindergarten, Primary and College within a bilingual framework and a pathway toward trilingual education. The curriculum combines the French National Curriculum, the British Curriculum, Montessori methods and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). Kindergarten learning is 50% English and 50% French, with two teachers per class and Maria Montessori materials.
