Introduction

Located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, EIB Lamartine is a private bilingual primary school for ages 3 to 10. It delivers a French-English bilingual curriculum under a contract with the State, complemented by a daily English learning program from early years through CM2. From CP onward, one quarter of the school day is conducted in English, with a teaching team including 11 French-language teachers and 6 English-language teachers, supported by music staff and others. School day structure

School day runs 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays, morning English-language cultural and artistic workshops are offered. In Petite Section, children attend half-day sessions (morning or afternoon) five days a week to ease the transition.

Annual tuition at EIB Lamartine ranges from EUR 10 to EUR 8,499 for 2026/27.

Application fees

- One-time application (dossier) fee: EUR 300.
- One-time registration (inscription) fee: EUR 900. These administrative fees are non‑refundable.

Tuition fees (per term and per year, by year group)

- Tuition (all year groups from Petite Section through CM2): EUR 2,833 per term. EUR 8,499 per year. The annual tuition is composed of the sum for the State association contribution and the mandatory "Pack EIB" included in tuition. A 25% reduction applies for a third child (applies to tuition only).

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Invoicing: tuition is invoiced as an annual amount; optional services (for example catering) are invoiced per term; other optional services are invoiced separately. For students who join during the school year, tuition and optional services are charged pro rata temporis.
- School term dates used for billing: 1 September – 30 November (1st term); 1 December – 28 February (2nd term); 1 March – 3 July (3rd term).
- Payment schedules accepted (family choice):
- SEPA direct debit in 1 instalment (withdrawn first week of October),
- SEPA direct debit in 3 instalments (first week of October, first week of January, first week of March),
- SEPA direct debit in 9 monthly instalments (first week of October through first week of June),
- Or by bank transfer / debit card / single bank transfer following the same one-time or three-transfer calendar. American Express is not accepted. For rejected direct debits or returned payments, bank fees and penalties apply and the outstanding balance becomes immediately due.
- Late payment penalties: interest at the legal rate plus two points and a contractual late‑payment penalty of 10% of the unpaid invoice; repeated non‑payment may lead to suspension of attendance and immediate exigibility of all sums due.

Boarding fees

- Boarding is not offered for EIB Lamartine (primary school). No boarding fees apply.

Refund and cancellation terms

- Administrative (application) fees and registration/exam fees are non‑refundable. Refund of an initial deposit (acompte) is possible only if the school receives written cancellation by recorded delivery within 15 days following the student's admission; after 15 days amounts paid are not refunded. Specific exceptional cases (for example orientation decided by the school to an offering not available within EIB Paris, refusal of redoubling, parent mutation under conditions with supporting evidence) allow for possible refund of re‑registration fees under the conditions set out by the school. In the event of a pupil's departure during the school year, the family must notify the school by recorded delivery; the full current trimester's tuition remains due while optional fees are billed pro rata.

Fee payment options (methods and practical notes)

- Accepted methods: SEPA direct debit (preferred), bank transfer, debit card (American Express not accepted), cheque (used in specific circumstances such as rejected SEPA). SEPA direct debit may be set up from a range of European/AELE countries and some non‑euro EU countries as detailed in the school's payment terms; fees charged by foreign banks for transfers are borne by the payer. Rejection of SEPA withdrawals may require payment by cheque and can trigger additional bank fees charged to the family.

Curriculum

The EIB Lamartine is a bilingual private primary school for children aged 3 to 10. It offers a French-English bilingual curriculum under an association contract with the State, complemented by a daily English-learning program. Daily English instruction starts at age 3, taught by qualified native-speaking teachers, and from CP one quarter of the school day is conducted in English. From the moyenne section onward, classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, and pupils receive computing training, with five domains of the Brevet Informatique et Internet (B2i) validated in CM1–CM2. English as an Additional Language (EAL)

EIB Lamartine is a bilingual primary school welcoming children aged 3 to 10. In a warm, friendly environment the school offers a bilingual French curriculum under a State association, complemented by a daily English-learning program from the early years to CM2, including Happy Wednesday English workshops on Wednesdays. A quarter of the school day is conducted in English. From CP onward, English is taught in level-based groups; from CE1 to CM2 the English program follows the English National Curriculum, and reading and writing begin in CE1. In CM2, students may take the Cambridge Younger Learners exam, validated by the British Council. Spanish is optional from CM1 and is studied in both oral and written forms for two hours per week, with quarterly progress checks, continuing into CM2.
