Introduction

Guidepost Montessori Paris offers a Montessori program for children from infancy through adolescence. The school serves ages 0 to 18 and provides a Montessori curriculum that places the youngest learners in Nido (6 weeks to 2 years), Toddler (2 to 3 years), and Children's House (3 to 6 years). The curriculum emphasizes independent learning through carefully prepared, hands-on materials and one-to-one guidance, supporting children as they explore Literacy, Mathematics, Practical Life, Sensorial, and Grace & Courtesy. Language immersion programs are available, giving children daily exposure to multiple languages as part of their classroom experience. The approach invites young learners to work at their own pace, develop concentration, and build practical life skills alongside academic foundations. By aligning materials and activities with developmental stages, Guidepost Montessori Paris aims to foster curiosity, autonomy, and confidence in a nurturing, internationally minded setting. The campus emphasizes collaboration. This prepares children for a connected world.

Fees
Overview

Guidepost Montessori Paris (Paris Monceau campus) requires standard enrollment charges and follows the Guidepost global tuition and payment policies. Specific tuition amounts (application fee amount, tuition deposit amount, and per‑program tuition rates) are set by the campus and are not posted as fixed public figures here; parents receive a campus rate sheet during the admissions/registration process.

Application fee

- A non‑refundable application (registration) fee is required for each child at the time of registration and following any lapse in enrollment. The campus determines the amount.

Tuition deposit

- A non‑refundable tuition deposit is required for each child at registration to hold the child's place and start date. The tuition deposit amount is set by the campus. The tuition deposit is applied to the last month of the child's enrollment (see Withdrawal). If enrollment is cancelled before the child starts, the application fee and tuition deposit are forfeited. When a child remains continuously enrolled and re‑enrollment is confirmed by the campus deadline, the deposit “rolls forward” and a new deposit is not required for that continuing enrollment.

Tuition structure by program (billing frequency and format)

- Nido (infant), Young Toddler, Toddler, and Children's House (preschool/kindergarten) programs operate year‑round and are billed as equal monthly installments across the year. Monthly billing dates are set in advance. For new enrollments the first month is prorated based on the child's start date; outside the initial month, monthly installments are not prorated.

- Elementary program is billed on an academic‑year basis and broken into 10 equal payments, with the first payment due on the 20th of the month prior to the month containing the first day of school.

- Exact tuition amounts by year group, per term or per month, are provided directly by the campus on the official rate sheet supplied at or after registration; those amounts vary by campus and program.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- General billing timeline: tuition invoices are issued in advance; tuition is due by the 20th of the month prior to the month of attendance (the handbook notes billing on the 18th and due on the 20th for year‑round programs). The first tuition payment must be submitted before the child begins attending. Absent a written exception, tuition must be received prior to the 1st of any given month in order for the child to continue attending that month.

- Autopay is mandatory: all accounts must be enrolled in the school's automatic payment system (Illumine). Once autopay is enabled the family cannot disable it directly; requests to disable must be handled by campus leadership.

- Accepted payment methods: parents add a preferred payment method in the Illumine Parent App — either a bank account (ACH) or a credit card. ACH payments do not incur processing fees. Credit card payments incur a pass‑through processing fee (typically 2.75%–3.0% depending on the provider). American Express transactions incur a processing fee of 3.5% + $0.25 per transaction. Payments cannot be made with savings accounts, debit cards, or FSA accounts through the billing system.

- Late payment fees and returned payment fees: an initial late fee of $25 is charged on the 21st if tuition is not received by the 20th; if payment is not received by the 25th, an additional $50 is charged (total $75). Payments returned by the bank for insufficient funds or other processing issues will incur processing fees in addition to late fees. Repeated late payments may lead to discontinuation of enrollment.

Other routine fees and charges

- Forgotten lunch: when a child arrives without lunch and the school provides a simple lunch, a charge of USD 15 (or equivalent local currency charge) is applied to the family account.

- Late pick‑up: a late pick‑up fee of USD 25 for each 15 minutes (or portion thereof) after a five‑minute grace period is charged automatically to the account. There is no grace period when the building closes.

- Field trips, special events, camps, holiday programs, extended‑day options, and certain enrichment classes may carry additional fees that are itemised separately by each campus and billed as applicable. Families remain responsible for tuition charges not covered by outside subsidies. Sibling discount: 10% discount applies to tuition for younger siblings.

- Uniforms: there is no campus‑wide uniform fee published in the Guidepost parent handbook; children should be dressed in comfortable, weather‑appropriate clothing and items should be labelled. Any optional or campus‑specific uniform or branded item fees would be listed by the campus if required.

Boarding / residential care

- Guidepost Montessori Paris Monceau operates as a day (externat) school; boarding/residential (internat) services are not applicable.

Withdrawal, cancellations, and refunds

- Withdrawal notice: formal withdrawal requires one full month's notice submitted via the school's electronic withdrawal form. The final month of attendance is billed in full and tuition is not prorated for the final month. The tuition deposit is applied to the last month of enrollment; depending on the deposit and monthly tuition amounts, there may be either an amount refunded or an amount owed when the child departs.

- Cancellation before start: if enrollment is cancelled before the child's start date, both the application fee and the tuition deposit are forfeited.

Summary of the main fee items (quick list)

- Non‑refundable application fee (amount set by campus).
- Non‑refundable tuition deposit (amount set by campus; applied to last month).
- Monthly or 10‑payment tuition billing depending on program (Nido/Toddler/Children's House billed monthly; Elementary billed over 10 payments). Exact tuition rates delivered on campus rate sheet.

Admissions

Admissions

1. Schedule a Tour or Visit. See our classrooms in action, meet educators, and experience the Montessori environment firsthand. Tours include open houses and private options; families can observe classroom routines, meet guides and staff, and ask questions about curriculum, routines, and daily life. Private tours can be arranged at a time that works for the family. 2. Confirm Placement. Based on your child's age and stage of development, the admissions team will guide you to the right program: Nido (Infants), Toddler, or Children's House (Preschool & Kindergarten). Placement decisions consider the child's pace and readiness. You will be guided through the program selection and any transitions. 3. Complete Registration. Submit the New Student Registration Form along with a one-time application fee and tuition deposit to secure your child's place. The admissions team is available to help through the process. Once registered, you will receive access to communications and scheduling details.
