The International School of Toulouse offers internationally recognized and accredited curricula with high expectations and engaging learning experiences. The school provides a friendly, caring environment where students are respected as individuals and as members of the community. Language access is central; instruction in French is tailored to the student's language needs to support integration into the host culture. IST has been an IB World School since January 2000, offering the IB Diploma Programme, and gained accreditation by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in June 2011.
Visual and performing arts have a prominent place, with public displays of student work and frequent concerts and plays. Secondary School extra-curricular activities include clubs for creative writing, music, science, art, mathematics and drama, with productions such as Around the World in 80 Days, Much Ado About Nothing, The Wizard of Oz, Bugsy Malone, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Instrumental music tuition is available from Grade 2 to Grade 12, with a wide range of instruments; students are encouraged to join the Eurocampus Orchestra and other ensembles. In Primary School, Grades 1–5 participate in recorder club, Primary choir and orchestra; in Secondary, the Eurocampus Orchestra, Guitar Club and Saxophone Group meet weekly.
IST has developed strong links with the local area and population, with regular visits to Toulouse to understand the language, history and culture of this part of France and residential trips to other parts of France and Europe; all activities are designed to enhance and enrich learning. The School hosts many cultural events, with distinguished writers, artists and musicians visiting to work with students and present to parents. The Eurocampus partnership and joint events with local institutions, including the Lycée Victor Hugo and other partner schools, foster cross-cultural exchange and collaboration.

The School is managed by Airbus Mobility SAS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus. Airbus nominates a President to run the company, and the President also serves as the Principal of the School. The Airbus Board of Directors comprises three members, all of whom are Airbus employees, and the Governors (conseil pédagogique) number six to seven members. The Board acts on behalf of the Owner to ensure high-quality educational service within Airbus financial parameters, reflecting the mobility needs of Airbus families.
The student canteen provides well-balanced meals in a pleasant environment, with subsidised school meals prepared on site by a French chef and dedicated staff; menus are available for review. The campus also features a vibrant culture of arts and performance, with frequent concerts and plays and opportunities to participate in music ensembles and theatre. Regular events, trips and on-site services contribute to a supportive, community-focused school life.
The International School of Toulouse is located on a four-hectare site in Colomiers and serves students aged 3 to 18. The school offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), along with the Cambridge IGCSE for Grades 9–10. IST's IB World School status dates back to 2000. Classes are small to support close teacher interaction and individualized learning. For younger students, the curriculum provides inquiry-led learning in English with strong French language support to facilitate integration into the local culture. The campus features two libraries, science laboratories, and dedicated spaces for art, music, drama and design & technology, plus assembly halls and an auditorium. On-site facilities include a large gym, all-weather football pitch, running track and long jump area, a canteen serving hot meals, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Extracurriculars span music ensembles, drama, creative writing, science, mathematics and art, with regular concerts, theatre productions, and cultural events.
