Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Contact the admissions team to begin your Marymount journey. They guide you through every step of the application process. You can take a virtual or in-person tour of the school as part of the admissions process. Tours can be booked by clicking the virtual consultation link. 2. Apply online through OpenApply. The admissions team will schedule a private consultation and tour. You can track the progress of your application there. You will receive updates in OpenApply as the review progresses. 3. Application deadline: We recommend applying in January and February for September entry as spaces are limited. However, we accept applications year-round and review them on an individual basis. Early submissions are strongly encouraged. 4. Materials needed: Online application form; the student's school records from their current or most recent year (in English); a child safeguarding form; passport-size photos and a photo ID from each parent. A list of health issues translated into English is required. Middle school students must complete an interview with the Head of School and may be asked to provide math and writing samples. Immunization records are required by the nurse and health information should be provided via the Medical Health Form. 5. Tours: Yes, in-person and virtual tours are offered with an admissions representative. Tours are recommended for all prospective families. Language: No language placement test is required; school records suffice. English can be taught as an additional language and the inclusion team is available to support any students who need to improve their English. 6. Notification of admission decision: After applying, you will have an OpenApply account to check the status of your application. When a decision is made, it will appear in OpenApply and you will automatically receive an email. You can expect timely updates as the review progresses.

Marymount International School Paris is an independent Catholic international day school for ages 2–14, offering a blend of American, French, and bespoke curricula on a single campus. The Early Learners program (ages 2–6) is English-language and play-based, emphasizing language development and recognition of home languages. Elementary (grades 1–5, about ages 7–11) provides an English-language primary program with literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies, plus enrichment in music, art, drama, library, religion, physical education, information technology, and philosophy; literacy uses a Lucy Calkins workshop approach with phonics. Middle School (ages 12–14) follows an American international core curriculum in language and literature, language acquisition, mathematics and sciences, individuals and societies, and the arts; it features a house system, weekly assemblies, service, wellbeing activities, and after-school clubs. A Dual Language Programme for Francophone students fosters bilingualism and biliteracy, with small-group sessions for French 3ème and related examinations. MAP and CAT4 assessments are used; Grade 2+ may sit the DELF. Founded in 1923 in Neuilly, it is the oldest international school in France and part of the Global Network of RSHM Schools.
