Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school develops the whole personality of the child with love, respect, and independence, providing them with the tools to make their own decisions in a caring and structured environment. Hands-on, self-directed learning, character development, and peaceful conflict resolution are central to the curriculum. The Montessori environment fosters collaboration across age groups, with leadership and mentoring reinforced in the Primary level. The school maintains a low student-teacher ratio to support individualized instruction. A tailored, respectful approach aims to cultivate autonomy, empathy, and social responsibility.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Low student-teacher ratio enables a tailored program. French and English-speaking educators are aware of each child's specific needs.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

English-French bilingual teaching from nursery upwards. English is not taught separately but experienced as a lived language. Montessori materials are used in both English and French. Native English and native French staff work side by side.

Mental Wellbeing

Hands-on, self-directed learning supports independence and personal growth. Character development and peaceful conflict resolution are central. The mission is to develop the whole personality with love, respect, and independence, providing the tools to make decisions with confidence.

Prunelle School Montessori Bilingual provides a Montessori bilingual education for children aged 2 to 12 across two campuses, Levallois-Perret and Puteaux-La Défense. The school uses a human-scale environment with a low student–teacher ratio and tailor-made learning pathways. It follows the Montessori method with English and French instruction delivered by native-speaking educators from nursery onward. The curriculum unfolds in three stages: Pre-Primary (2–3), Primary (3–6), and Elementary (6–12). In the early years, students explore Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Activities; in Elementary, they study geography, science, history, biology, botany, and zoology through the Great Lessons. The Cosmic Education framework emphasizes community, curiosity, and real-world connections. Facilities include a multi-purpose gym, nearby swimming pool, and a park for outdoor learning. Extracurriculars feature weekly English language activities, a year-round Day Camp with arts and sports, and clubs that connect language and culture. Prunelle is affiliated with AMF and AMI.
