The BSP runs a strong debate and Model United Nations (MUN) programme. The Year 6 Debating Club took part in the IAPS Debating Competition and were crowned champions after advancing through rounds that included defeating King's College La Moraleja to reach the final against the British Junior Academy of Brussels on the topic of parental responsibility for children's crimes. The Senior School hosts a Model United Nations programme, and pupils in Years 10–13 participate in THIMUN in The Hague each year. These activities develop research, argumentation, collaboration and public-speaking skills.
The BSP places emphasis on sports, music and the arts, with school plays and musicals, sports days, concerts and art exhibitions regularly featured in the calendar, including performances by the school orchestra. There is a vibrant arts culture across both the Junior and Senior Schools. Alumni achievements also illustrate ongoing engagement in the arts, including notable exhibitions in Paris. Creative expression is a core element of the BSP experience.
The BSP is international, with 60+ nationalities represented among students. An English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme is offered to pupils who need language support, closely coordinated with class teachers so learners stay integrated in mainstream lessons and progress through translanguaging where possible. The humanities faculty houses the Model United Nations programme, and BSP pupils take part in THIMUN in The Hague each year, reinforcing cross-cultural and language skills. These activities enrich language development and cultural understanding across the school.
Co-curricular life includes Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers and Cubs as part of after-school provision in the Junior School. The programme also features regular school shows, musicals, art exhibitions and a growing range of sports, including new opportunities such as beach volleyball. Debating and MUN activities sit alongside other clubs and events, illustrating a broad and active social and hobby landscape at BSP.
The BSP community undertakes charity and volunteering initiatives, including United World Schools (UWS), which has been supported since 2017 to widen access to education in Cambodia. The BSP Community Shop funds UWS through its second-hand uniform sales, with Year 13 students also volunteering in Cambodia and community fundraising contributing to wider charitable causes. The school has donated substantial funds to UWS to support school-building, teacher training and community development.
The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is offered at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels to pupils aged 14 and older. The Award focuses on four sections—Service, Skill, Physical and the Adventurous Journey—encouraging personal growth, leadership, teamwork and service to others. Award coordinators are available at the BSP to provide information and support throughout the process.
The Senior School runs a Character Education programme led by a team of Character Champions who meet weekly to promote empathy, honesty and respect. The programme aims to embed core values and life skills across the curriculum with involvement from parents and staff. The initiative reflects BSP's commitment to holistic wellbeing and responsible decision-making as part of daily school life.
The British School of Paris Junior Campus is located in Croissy-sur-Seine, positioned on the banks of the River Seine. The school implements the National Curriculum for England, beginning with the Early Years Foundation Stage for children aged three. Instruction is in English, though all students receive daily French lessons tailored to their proficiency levels. Facilities include thirty-five classrooms, a specialized music suite, and a library with a collection exceeding 10,000 titles. A signature element of the education here is the 1:1 iPad program, where every pupil from Reception through Year 6 is provided with a digital tablet for classroom use. Students also participate in a House System, which organizes pupils into groups for internal events and collaborative activities. For older students, the school organizes annual residential trips to regions such as Normandy or the Ardèche to focus on outdoor activities and geographical studies. Physical education utilizes multi-purpose sports halls and all-weather pitches.
