Language Provision

Language learning opportunities and multilingual education

Language Provision

English and French are the core languages of instruction. The Early Years and Primary School follow a bilingual (French/English) curriculum, and in the Secondary School English and French remain the languages of instruction while a third language is studied. A third language is offered in addition to English and French; learning support may mean some students do not take a third language. DELF certifications are offered and the school is a DELF testing centre.

Bilingual Teaching

The school operates a bilingual English–French programme across the Early Years and Primary School and continues with English and French emphasis in the Secondary School. Language learning is at the centre of all teaching, with English and French teachers working together to develop bilingual competence and the ability to express oneself in both languages. The Early Years and Primary School follow a bilingual curriculum, with English and French remaining central in the Secondary School.
