Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Mental, emotional, and social development are School Wide Expected Student Outcomes (SESO). Mental – Lifelong Learner; Emotional – Resilient and Self-Aware; Social – Compassionate Community Member.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Special Needs Consideration – While CLAS is not fully equipped to accommodate all special education needs, each case is reviewed individually. Acceptance depends on available resources and staffing. Students are monitored and periodically re-evaluated.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The school teaches in English; it is an English-speaking international elementary school. The curriculum includes Bible, Math, Science, Language Arts and English, Reading and Literature, and Heritage Studies (Bob Jones University Press).

Mental Wellbeing

Mental health and emotional wellbeing are addressed within SESO: Mental – Lifelong Learner emphasizes critical thinking; Emotional – Resilient and Self-Aware; Social – Compassionate Community Member.

Safeguarding

Health Policies & Procedures cover immunization requirements, illness and contagious disease guidelines, lice policy, emergency medical procedures, medication administration, hygiene and prevention, and overall health and safety measures aligned with German laws to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

Christian Life Academy Stuttgart is a compact international Christian school in Germany serving students from ages six to eighteen. The curriculum combines the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) with a Christian framework and a bespoke curriculum tailored to individual learners. In Grades 1–5, BJU Press materials support core subjects, while Grades 6–12 partner with Sevenstar Online Academy, delivering accredited coursework and dual‑credit opportunities. The school operates a Hybrid Program that blends core academics online with in‑house enrichment, keeping class sizes small (max 30 students) and mixed grades 1–12. Daily routines include morning devotions, Chapel services, and virtue lessons. A German Language Immersion Program, SDG literacy, and Holistic Wellness are integrated into a STEAM‑infused program that emphasizes Christian values. Facilities include a games hall and ongoing development of a Kindergarten learning space. After‑school and before‑school care (CLA‑ASP) offer music, Life Skills, STEAM, and Learning Support. The school fosters leadership and service.
