International School Augsburg (ISA) is a K–12, English-speaking day school in Germany offering an IB-based education alongside Cambridge IGCSE in upper grades. The school serves students aged 3 to 18 and uses English as the language of instruction with EAL support. ISA began in 2005 with 65 local students and now welcomes more than 350 learners from 38 nationalities, reflecting a diverse community. The curriculum combines the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), the IB Diploma Programme (DP), and Cambridge IGCSE in Grades 9–10, preparing students for global study worldwide. A Gersthofen campus opening in 2027–2028 will house 550 students on an 18,000 m² site featuring flexible learning pods, purpose-built laboratories, a double gym hall, and dedicated spaces for art, music, and performance. The campus aims for carbon-neutral operation with green roofs and solar panels. Extracurriculars include Art, Music, MUN, CAS, ECAP, and service partnerships, emphasizing wellbeing, sustainability, and intercultural understanding.
