- Admission Fee: EUR 4,500 per child, payable on initial registration and non‑refundable for Kindergarten through Grade 10.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Plan 1 (single payment): full annual payment due by August 10; a 2% reduction applies when paid by that date.
- Plan 2 (two instalments): 70% due by August 10 and 30% due by February 10.
- Plan 3 (monthly): nine monthly instalments payable from August through April; payments are due on the 10th of each month. Parents who choose Plan 3 must allow the school to debit their bank accounts directly; an administration fee of EUR 10 per month (EUR 90 total) applies.
- Pro‑rated charges apply for late enrolments and early departures according to the published monthly percentage schedule (examples: students enrolling in October pay 95% of the annual fee; students enrolling in January pay 65%; students leaving in September/October may be charged 50% etc.). Two months' notice is required for withdrawals during the school year. Notice given after May 31 for students leaving at the end of the school year will result in a charge equal to 25% of next year's school fees.
- Non‑payment consequences: accounts in arrears may lead to withdrawal of school attendance privileges and withholding of records until the account is brought to a satisfactory condition.
Boarding fees (if applicable)
- ISHR is a co‑educational day school; no boarding provision or boarding fees apply.
Other costs and incidental fees
- Examination & Graduation fee for Grades 11–12: EUR 2,000 (payable in two instalments).
- Sabbatical (leave of absence): for an absence of more than three months, a fee of EUR 1,000 per school year per student is charged to retain the student's place. An admission fee will not be charged on return.
- Hot lunch: an external hot-lunch programme is available by advance arrangement; the cost is charged separately under the hot-lunch agreement.
- Books and materials: most charges, including most books, are included in the school fees; exceptions apply in the Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12), where students are asked to provide their own consumable materials.
- Administration fee for the monthly plan: EUR 10 per month (EUR 90 total) for Plan 3.
- Uniforms: no mandatory uniform fee or compulsory uniform charge is listed among the school's published fees.
Refund information and adjustments
- The Admission Fee (EUR 4,500) is non‑refundable for Kindergarten through Grade 10.
- Pro‑rations are applied for late entry and early departure according to the monthly percentage schedule; two months' notice is required for in‑year withdrawals. A late notice given after May 31 for end‑of‑year withdrawal triggers a charge equal to 25% of the next academic year's fees.

International School Hannover Region (ISHR) is an independent, non‑profit IB school serving ages 3–18. It offers the full International Baccalaureate continuum from Kindergarten through Grade 12, including the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. Instruction is in English, with German language and other subjects integrated as appropriate. ISHR is accredited by CIS and NEASC and is a member of AGIS. The campus sits on a green site near central Hanover, with a main administration building, four wings of classrooms, a well‑stocked library, science laboratories, ICT infrastructure, a dedicated Kindergarten, a dining hall with a professional kitchen, and music, drama rooms and an auditorium; plus on‑site sports facilities. In 2013 a new secondary centre opened and a gym and visitors' gallery were added to the PE Wing, with the main sports hall renovated. The school emphasizes Creativity, Activity and Service; clubs include MUN, Strategy Game Club, Robotics, Drama, and Yearbook. Around 600 students from more than 65 nations study here, with graduates going to universities worldwide. In 2022 ISHR attained carbon neutrality and was named Digital Place Lower Saxony.
