The school campus features a modern gymnasium and spacious outdoor areas for a wide range of sports and activities. Swimming is part of Physical Education from Early Entry (age 5) through Grade 10. The Vorschule provides an immersive English-language environment with small classes and a variety of activities. Most subjects are taught in English, with German as a first language, Spanish as a second language, and other languages available on request. A rich, teacher-led club program runs as part of the daily schedule.

Swimming is a permanent part of PE, starting in Early Entry (age 5) and continuing through Grade 10.
ISM is an IB World School offering Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). The IB framework guides a curriculum designed to develop internationally minded learners who inquire, know, think, communicate, and be principled, open-minded, caring, risk-taking, balanced, and reflective. The Diploma Programme equips students with a broad and deep body of knowledge, fosters growth across physical, intellectual, emotional, and ethical domains, and encourages multilingualism with at least two languages. Core components of the Diploma Programme include the Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). The IB Diploma is officially recognized as a general higher education entrance qualification by KMK in Germany.
ISM offers a wide range of sports and clubs as part of the extracurricular program. Clubs led by dedicated teachers include Tennis, Model Building, Dungeons & Dragons, Playground Fun, Reading Club, Science Lab, Photography, Cooking Class, and Ballet. Club offerings are semester-based and change every six months to encourage exploring new interests. The program also includes excursions and cultural experiences, such as visits to historic cities, museums, nature projects, factories, amusement parks, and seasonal festivals.
International School Mainfranken (ISM) is a private IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). The PYP serves ages 6–12 with inquiry-based, cross-disciplinary learning across six transdisciplinary themes. The MYP covers core subjects—English, German, mathematics, social studies, sciences, physical education and health, design, arts, and music—and prepares students for the DP. The DP includes subjects from six IB groups and the core components: Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Activity and Service. Most subjects are taught in English; German is a first language and Spanish a second language, with other languages available on request. Preschool begins at age 5 with full English immersion; ISM offers a full-day program with small classes and a focus on intercultural competence.
