English is the primary language of instruction for most subjects. German is offered as a first language and Spanish as a second language, with additional languages available on request. The school offers education from preschool (starting at age 5) through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for students aged 6 to 12, the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP).

Preschool provides full immersion in English from day one, starting at age 5. The rest of ISM delivers English-language instruction for most subjects, with German as a first language and Spanish as a second language. Other languages are available upon interest.
International School Mainfranken (ISM) is a private IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). The PYP serves ages 6–12 with inquiry-based, cross-disciplinary learning across six transdisciplinary themes. The MYP covers core subjects—English, German, mathematics, social studies, sciences, physical education and health, design, arts, and music—and prepares students for the DP. The DP includes subjects from six IB groups and the core components: Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Activity and Service. Most subjects are taught in English; German is a first language and Spanish a second language, with other languages available on request. Preschool begins at age 5 with full English immersion; ISM offers a full-day program with small classes and a focus on intercultural competence. Facilities include a modern gymnasium, extensive outdoor spaces, and a rich club program. The Diploma Programme is recognized by KMK in Germany.
