Registration, Admission and Deposit

- One-time registration fee: EUR 383. This charge is due once the school contract is signed and is non-refundable.
- One-time admission fee: EUR 1,884. This charge is due once the school contract is signed and is non-refundable.
- Deposit: an interest-free deposit equal to three months' tuition (based on the child's first year at the school) is invoiced latest three months prior to the child starting. The deposit is limited to a maximum of EUR 5,000 per family for up to two children; each additional child increases the family maximum by EUR 1,000. The deposit is normally returned within one month after the child has left the school provided no payments are outstanding; outstanding invoices may be covered by the deposit. Exceptions to the deposit requirement apply where the employing company is invoiced directly.

- Early Years Programme (Early Years 1–3; ages 3–6): Annual EUR 12,917.00 (quarterly EUR 3,229.25).
- Primary Years Programme (Grades 1–5; ages 6–11): Annual EUR 14,842.00 (quarterly EUR 3,710.50).
- Middle Years Programme (Grades 6–9; ages 11–15): Annual EUR 16,631.00 (quarterly EUR 4,157.75).
- Middle Years Programme (Grade 10; ages 15–16): Annual EUR 17,321.00 (quarterly EUR 4,330.25).
- Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12; ages 16–18): Annual EUR 19,370.00 (quarterly EUR 4,842.50).
- Intensive English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme (separate charge): Annual EUR 3,416.00 (quarterly EUR 854.00).
- Early Morning Care (07:00–08:00): Annual EUR 1,635.00 (annual payment; no refund).
- After School Care (daily care standard model): Annual EUR 1,863.00 (other models and partial-year options are listed in the registration form).

Reductions, discounts and pro‑rations

- Sibling reductions on tuition only: the oldest child pays full fees; the second oldest child receives 10% reduction; the third and any further children receive 25% reduction. Reductions apply only to tuition, not to registration/admission fees, deposit or other charges.
- Yearly-payment discount: Families choosing the yearly payment plan receive a 1.0% discount, provided payment is received by the due date stated on the invoice. Specific contract terms can supersede this percentage.
- Late enrolment pro‑rations: tuition for students enrolling after the start of the school year is pro‑rated by month according to a fixed schedule (examples): Sept 100%; Oct 95%; Nov 85%; Dec 75%; Jan 65%; Feb 55%; Mar 45%; Apr 35%; May 25%; June 15%.

Incidental and additional costs

- Extra lessons for pupils in the Intensive EAL programme (additional charges).
- Costs for class outings, concerts, theatre visits, field trips, excursions, tournaments and study trips (including travel expenses).
- Costs for special coaching or individual supervision due to special educational or social needs.
- Costs for supervising children before school hours (Early Morning Care) where applicable. Early Morning Care is charged as an annual fee and is non-refundable.
- Costs for special sports training and coaching outside the normal school programme.
- Costs for special courses within the After School Activities Programme that are not part of the normal school programme.
- IGCSE and IB examination fees, postage/courier costs, and IB Diploma books and materials for Grades 11 and 12.
- School lunch: lunch costs are paid by parents directly into the school's separate lunch system/account when participating; lunch costs are not invoiced via the school's tuition invoicing.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Invoicing: one invoice is issued for the entire school year. For continuing students and re-enrolments the annual invoice is issued during June prior to the new school year; for new enrolments the invoice is issued as soon as the contract is signed but no later than three months prior to the child's start date.
- Payment options and dates (standard for the academic year covered by the tuition regulations):
- Yearly payment due date example: 10 July (year stated on the invoice).
- Quarterly instalments due on the following typical dates: Installment 1 – 10 July; Installment 2 – 10 October; Installment 3 – 9 January; Installment 4 – 10 April. Specific invoice dates and the chosen mode of payment are reflected on the invoice.
- All fees and incidental costs are payable in advance. Fees are due for payment within 10 working days after invoicing unless a different due date is shown on the invoice. All payments must be made to the bank account shown on the invoice. In case of non-payment the school may charge dunning fees. Invoices are sent by e‑mail to the address registered in the school information system.

Refund and withdrawal notes

- Registration and admission fees are non‑refundable. Early Morning Care annual payments are non‑refundable. The deposit is refunded normally within one month after the child leaves the school provided no outstanding invoices remain; the deposit may be used to settle unpaid invoices. Notice periods and formal withdrawal terms are defined in the school contract (Section X).

ISU is an all-day, English-speaking IB World School in Neu-Ulm, Germany, serving ages 3 to 17. It combines the IB Primary Years Programme for Kindergarten through Grade 5 with the IB Diploma Programme for Grades 11–12, and offers Cambridge IGCSE in the Upper School. The ISU Diploma is awarded alongside the IB Diploma and allows Mittlere Reife in Germany. The curriculum emphasizes international-mindedness and global perspectives. The campus features dedicated rooms for science, music, art and technology, a performance hall, a cafeteria, and an outside play area, with science and IT laboratories to support learning. A large gym and an indoor swimming pool are nearby. ISU participates in GISST and has a broad sport program. An After School Activity Programme runs in Fall, Winter, and Spring, with 2–3 training sessions per week.
