Six languages are taught at LFVH. Language learning lies at the heart of LFVH's educational approach. LFVH offers regular exchanges and sports challenges with schools in Frankfurt and the AEFE network, including events like the Semaine Olympique et Paralympique. The school hosts authors and illustrators visiting the campus, and runs European Science Slam evenings where students present concepts in multiple languages. The Franco-German Day around January 22 brings together LFVH and partner schools for sport, arts, and theatre.

The Le Foyer Socio-Éducatif is a nonprofit association housed at LFVH that cofinances school trips, supports playground equipment, funds cultural events, and buys books for the CDI. It maintains a dedicated budget and supports arts and cultural activities within the school. Eco‑delegates from CM1 onward lead environmental projects and raise awareness across the LFVH community.
LFVH provides formal student governance through the Conseil de la Vie Collégienne (CVC) in the collège and the Conseil de la Vie Lycéenne (CVL) in the lycée. The orientation program emphasizes a student‑constructed parcours, with a significant focus on information, guidance, and preparation for higher education and careers. From the third year onward, students participate in internships, meet with higher‑education representatives, and attend forums like the Carrefour des métiers; they also have access to Agora Monde resources for post‑bac planning.

LFVH is a direct-managed French international school in Frankfurt am Main, part of the AEFE network, serving age 3 through 18. It teaches the French national curriculum from early years to Terminale, with two middle-school pathways: a Dual-Language Program offering German and English as second languages, and an International Program based on the Hessen curriculum with German as the first language. In collège, students complete about 29 to 30 hours of compulsory lessons per week, with the Diplôme National du Brevet awarded on completion; the school welcomes students with special educational needs. In lycée, three Baccalauréat tracks emphasize languages, with counseling for courses and careers, and the ADN-AEFE Study Abroad Program enabling international exchanges; Abibac is available. Examinations for the Baccalauréat and Abibac take place on site.
