Fees
Overview of the fee model

Phorms Campus Munich charges income-related tuition that is calculated separately for each educational level (crèche / kindergarten, primary school, secondary / Gymnasium). Tuition is expressed as a monthly contribution and the calculation uses gross annual income from the year before last as the basis for the contribution.

Application and one‑off admission fees

- A one‑off administrative / enrolment fee is charged at the time the school contract is signed. For the Phorms fee model used at other Phorms campuses this administrative fee is commonly set at 2.5 times the applicable monthly tuition contribution (a reduced amount may apply for reduced-fee categories).

Tuition fees by school level and how they are expressed

- Fee structure by level: fees are handled separately for crèche/kindergarten, primary (Grundschule) and secondary (Gymnasium). Each level has its own contribution scale tied to household gross income. The school issues a personalised monthly contribution for the child's specific year group and level.

- How to read amounts: tuition is expressed as a monthly contribution. The annual tuition equals the monthly amount multiplied across the school year (the school treats the annual tuition as a contribution spread into monthly instalments). To obtain a per‑term amount, multiply the monthly contribution by the number of months covered by that term.

- Income basis and timing: the basis for calculating the contribution is the household's positive gross annual income from the year before last (for the 2025/26 school year that means 2023 income is used). This same method is applied across the different school levels.

- Sibling discount: a sibling discount is offered; Phorms Munich's published information notes a family discount on monthly fees (a commonly stated figure for the campus is a 15% sibling discount applied to the monthly contribution).

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Billing rhythm: tuition is treated as an annual contribution divided into monthly instalments (twelve monthly payments for the school year), with the first instalment due at the beginning of the school year. The one‑off administrative/enrolment fee is due at contract signing.

- Mid‑year starts: where children start partway through a school year, tuition is handled on a monthly basis so the payable tuition for that year reflects the months attended (monthly contribution logic applies).

Boarding fees

- Boarding is not part of Phorms Campus Munich's offer; the campus comprises crèche, kindergarten, primary and secondary day provision and does not operate a boarding facility. No boarding fees apply.

Other compulsory or regular additional costs

- Meals and catering: lunch and catering costs are charged in addition to the monthly tuition where applicable (arrangements and registration for catering are handled separately).

- Material / curricular contributions: an annual material contribution or similar charges are applied in some levels (for example in crèche, kindergarten and Gymnasium) to cover teaching materials, exam registration or subject certificate costs.

- Exam and qualification costs: charges for external registration (for example IB registration or subject exam fees) and other assessment costs may be invoiced in addition to tuition.

- Trips, clubs and extracurriculars: costs for excursions, class trips, optional after‑school clubs and some extracurricular offerings are charged separately. There are published club and activity programmes with their own participation fees.

- School clothing / uniform: costs for mandatory or recommended school clothing / starter sets and associated one‑time purchases may be charged; these are additional to tuition and material contributions.

Refunds and cancellations

- Administrative/enrolment fee: the administrative fee is payable with contract signing; under the Phorms fee model this fee is collected at signing and treated as an up‑front contractual charge. Policies about refundability of that fee and of tuition on withdrawal are governed by the school's contractual terms; tuition is structured as an annual contribution in twelve monthly instalments. Expect the administrative fee to be dealt with under the contract terms.

Fee payment options

- Invoicing and payment method: tuition and ancillary charges are invoiced and handled via the school's finance procedures; for Phorms campuses the common operating practice is to collect tuition by regular bank‑based payment methods (bank transfer or SEPA direct debit) and to issue invoices for the scheduled instalments. Acceptance of card payments or other methods may vary by campus or for specific one‑off charges. Parents make arrangements with the school's finance office for the chosen payment method.

Key practical points you will need when preparing a precise fee entry

- The campus issues a personalised monthly contribution per child (amount depends on household gross income and the child's school level). Multiply that monthly contribution to create annual and term amounts for database display (annual = 12 x monthly; term = monthly x months in the term). The campus provides a contribution calculator and a defined income reference year to determine which income band applies.

- Expect the one‑off administrative/enrolment fee (commonly 2.5 x one month's contribution under the group fee model) to appear on the first invoice; additional recurring items such as catering, materials, exam fees and club fees are invoiced separately.

If you need these items presented in a specific currency format or as separate per‑level example entries, the campus provides the exact monthly contribution for each family and year group using the stated income basis and contribution calculator.
