The school has a single campus in Dreieich near Frankfurt that houses Kindergarten, Primary School and Secondary School on one site. The school offers a robust after-school program with a wide range of sports clubs and activities. After-school care runs from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm for Year 1 onward. Sports clubs include soccer, gymnastics, tennis, judo and self-defense, badminton and volleyball, and athletics, with additional ball-skills activities for younger pupils. The school collaborates with local sports clubs and partners to provide coaching and opportunities.
The school offers IB programmes across PYP, MYP and DP, combining the IB with the Hessen education plan. The Reception class is aligned with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Hessen Education Plan (BEP) and uses an immersion approach to German and English. The Diploma Programme (IBDP) and a High School Diploma are available, and the school provides a library to support reading and literacy. Academic and STEM support is available as part of the after-school programme.
There is a diverse and vibrant campus life with arts and music activities including crafts and design, art, percussion, violin, reading club, yoga, and rest areas. After-school clubs and activities cover Breakdance & Hip Hop Dance, Jewellery Club, Elements of Art, Lego Club, Origami, Comic Club, Chess Club, Coding Club, Math Club, Robot Games, English and German Language & Literature, and German Language Assistance. After-school care and clubs offer sports clubs such as soccer, gymnastics, tennis, judo, badminton, volleyball, athletics, and ball-skill programs. Holiday camps (Fall, Easter, Summer) run alongside clubs and activities, and the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports community events.
Strothoff International School is an IB World School located on a single campus in Dreieich, near Frankfurt, Germany. It offers the IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) integrated with the Hessian state curriculum (BEP). From Kindergarten through Year 12, instruction is in English and German; the early years are bilingual (60% English, 40% German). The Primary Years Programme is used in the early years, with a bilingual environment, and the MYP runs for Grades 6–10 in English with language instruction in German, Spanish or French. The Diploma Programme begins in MYP4/MYP5 and offers IBDP, HSDP, or Abi-IBDP. The campus houses Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary on one site and holds NEASC and CIS accreditation.
