The Junior Elite Athlete Programme is based on the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, and the Elite Athlete Programme is based on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme or the Greek General Lyceum. Both are tailor-made educational programmes for students who combine high academic achievement with top athletic performance, delivered through close collaboration between CGS's academic and athletic faculties. The programmes enable daily training in selected sports under top coaches while maintaining a flexible curriculum to accommodate matches and assessments. Guidance and counselling on prospective careers, universities and countries of study are provided.
The Conservatory offers quality music education with options from individual instrument tuition to theory, solfège, and ensembles, and it prepares students for university musicology studies. Courses are available to students from Kindergarten age up to adults. Student concerts are performed at CGS or other venues, and educational events and seminars with eminent musicians are regularly held.
CGS MUN organizes international Model United Nations conferences. The 20th CGS MUN conference took place December 12–14, 2025. Preparation resources and a governance structure including a Secretariat and student officers support participants.
CGS Triathlon Club trains in triathlon, running, and swimming and participates in inter-club and national events. The Juventus Academy Athens provides football training through Juventus Soccer Schools. The CGS Academies page lists Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Fencing, and Swimming as CGS sports clubs.
Duke of Edinburgh International Award is offered in collaboration with CGS. The CGS Sports Association organizes sports competitions, seminars, meetings and events promoting fair play and the well-being of body and mind, and participates in competitions organized by third parties.
Guidance and counselling on prospective careers, universities and countries of study are provided. The Duke of Edinburgh International Award is a CGS collaboration that fosters leadership and personal development.
Morning training sessions are held up to a maximum of 6 hours per week. The Elite Athlete Programme offers a flexible curriculum, transport by bus, and lunch on training days, plus courses in techniques, tactics, conditioning, emotional support and diet. The CGS Sports Association supports a broad range of clubs—Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Fencing, Swimming—promoting physical development and well-being.
Costeas-Geitonas School (CGS) is a long-established private school in Greece educating students aged 3 to 18. It offers the International Baccalaureate across the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme, with Greek as the main language of instruction in the PYP and English as a secondary language. The 67,000 square metre campus features 103 classrooms, 3 science laboratories, 6 computer labs, and a Research & Media Library with over 25,000 holdings. Facilities include an Outdoor Amphitheatre, a Music Conservatory, a Dance Studio, a Visual Arts Studio and a Radio Station; two indoor heated pools, an outdoor stadium and track, four basketball courts, and a tennis and handball court. CGS runs the Elite Athlete Programme and partnerships with Juventus Academy Athens and the CGS Triathlon Club, together with the Duke of Edinburgh International Award. CGS Ellinikon was announced in 2022, with first students expected in 2026. The school hosts MUN conferences and a broad arts program.
