Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Review Enrolment Notes
Parents are advised to read the Enrolment Notes carefully before starting the online application. These notes outline eligibility requirements, required documents, and application timelines for each grade level.
2. Submit Online Application
Applications are submitted through the school’s online admissions portal, along with a non-refundable application fee. Applicants must upload supporting documents such as recent school reports, birth certificates, and proof of identity.
3. Interview Stage
Year 1: Applicants participate in a first-round group interview, followed by a second-round individual interview for shortlisted candidates. Parents of shortlisted applicants are also invited for a meeting.
Year 7: Both group and individual interviews are conducted, with parents invited to share their views on education and school partnership.
Transfer students: Interviews are held only if vacancies exist, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly.
4. Results and Offers
After interviews, the school notifies families of admission results via email. Successful applicants receive offer letters with instructions for registration and payment of the first fee installment.
5. Registration and Enrolment
Accepted applicants must complete enrolment procedures within the stated period to confirm their place. Families may also apply for Fee Remission or Scholarship schemes at this stage if eligible.
The school does not operate a general waitlist or pool system. However, for transfer students, interviews are arranged only when vacancies are available. Applicants who are not shortlisted or when grade levels are full are not automatically placed on a rolling waitlist.
ELCHK Lutheran Academy offers a Scholarship Scheme designed to recognize students with strong academic performance or outstanding achievements in specific areas such as service, leadership, or creativity.
