Apeejay School International offers IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). The learning approach is inquiry-based, with emphasis on thinking, reflection and action. Action in PYP connects classroom learning to real-world contexts and encourages students to think creatively and critically. CAS in DP and the Learning Enhancement Programme provide opportunities for creativity and skill development beyond academics.
Arts are nurtured through debates, elocution, MUN, student-led conferences and TED-Ed Clubs. Music, theatre and visual arts are supported by Art Studio, Dance Studio and Music Studio facilities. The Art, Music and Theatre program aims to groom confident, eloquent students with on-stage and backstage skills. Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) in DP also provides creative engagement beyond the classroom.
English is the instructional language at ASI. Hindi is offered as a second language from Grade 1, and from Grade 3 onward students can opt for Spanish or French. The policy supports multilingual learning across the IB continuum and includes language profiling, mother tongue support and language development across PYP, MYP and DP.
Students participate in a wide range of clubs including Art & Craft, Public Speaking, National Integration & International Understanding, Gardening, IT Club, Dance, Literary, Instrumental Music, Dramatics, Maths and Heritage of India. Clubs rotate every three months to allow pursuit of diverse interests, with activities spanning art, writing, debate, music and performance. The clubs foster creativity, leadership and teamwork.
All students are encouraged to do social service every year in local or international communities. Apeejay has a long association with Rotary Clubs and Interact Programs, and students contribute through service activities and donation campaigns.
The university fairs at ASI bring representatives from premier Indian and international universities to guide students in making informed career choices. The school also highlights leadership and professional pathways through its Apeejay Alumni network and university partnerships. This network provides mentorship and opportunities for career development.
Physical education and well-being are central to the holistic programme, with yoga and regular movement encouraged. Outdoor Education includes annual sports meets, overnight camps and nature excursions, with CAS integration; trips have included Jim Corbett National Park and Yamuna Biodiversity Park. These experiences foster decision making, teamwork and resilience.
