The Physical Education and Sports Programme emphasizes participation, competition and excellence. Indoor games include table tennis, carrom, chess, billiards, squash, swimming, badminton, and skating. Outdoor sports include athletics, football, cricket, basketball, and lawn tennis. Additional activities include martial arts, gymnastics, aerobics and gymnasium fitness. The programme fosters leadership, teamwork, competition, patience, appreciation and respect.
The school offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme, and Career-related Programme. DPSI houses state-of-the-art primary and secondary libraries that support teaching and learning and promote reading and literacy. The libraries have a collection of over 10,000 books across fiction, non-fiction, reference resources and more. Library hours are 8:00–3:30 Monday to Thursday and 8:00–2:30 on Friday, with borrowing limits by class (Nursery–Grade 2: one book/week; Grades 3–5: two books/week; MYP: three books/week). The Library provides access to diverse e-resources such as Britannica School Encyclopedia, TED, Khan Academy and other online learning tools to aid research and study.
Co-curricular Activities extend learning beyond the classroom with Sports & Fitness, Arts & Expression, Clubs & Academics, Service & Leadership, and Well-being & Enrichment. Sports and Fitness include cricket, football, basketball, swimming, tennis, athletics and more. Arts & Expression cover music, dance, drama, fine arts and photography. Clubs & Academics feature Debate, MUN, Book Club, Tech Club, Coding, World Scholar's Cup and additional activities. Service & Leadership emphasizes community outreach and sustainability projects, along with student leadership roles. Well-being & Enrichment include life-skills and wellbeing workshops.
