The school began with Children's Nook, founded by Mrs. Pinky Dalal in 1984. In 2003, JBCN Education was created to extend the progressive learning philosophy. JBCN Education leads five International Schools in Mumbai that adopt IB (PYP and Authorized DP), CAIE (CIPP, IGCSE, A levels) and ICSE curricula. The Oshiwara campus is part of this network and aims to nurture learners who can take their place as leaders and problem solvers in a rapidly globalising world.

JBCN International School – Oshiwara is part of the JBCN Education network in Mumbai and serves learners from age 2 to 18. The campus offers IB Primary Years Programme for Grades I–V and the IB Diploma Programme, alongside Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels and Cambridge A Levels. Pre-Primary is provided through an Early Learning Years Programme. The curriculum combines IB frameworks with Cambridge pathways to support a flexible, internationally oriented education.
