Extra-Curricular Activities

Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

Regular assemblies, clubs, workshops, and in-school productions provide opportunities for student presentation and performance. Students participate in international events such as Model United Nations, Global Youth Leaders Conference, and Harvard Model Congress, and engage in inter-school exchanges. Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) is part of the Diploma Programme Core.

Arts and Creative

The Performing Arts department encompasses music, dance, and drama, offering students a rich journey in the expressive arts. Students explore classical and contemporary music, learn multiple dance styles, and collaborate in theatre and film studios. The department supports student participation in art exhibitions and school productions to showcase talent.

Cultural and Language

International events such as Model United Nations, Global Youth Leaders Conference, and Harvard Model Congress, along with inter-school exchanges, foster cultural and linguistic engagement. Languages taught include English, Hindi, French (ab initio and B), and Spanish (ab initio). International expeditions provide cultural and linguistic immersion that broadens horizons.

Social and Hobbies

Sports and recreational activities are a central part of student life, with facilities for cricket, tennis, football, athletics, horse riding, pickleball, padel, badminton, and more. Outdoor facilities include an Olympic-size soccer field, cricket pitch and nets, synthetic courts, and an athletics track; indoor facilities include a half Olympic-size pool, squash courts, badminton, table tennis, chess, and yoga. Annual Camps and the Summer Camp provide additional immersive experiences outside the classroom.

Community and Service

The Community Service Programme integrates service learning into the curriculum; primary students work on water conservation, hygiene, and the environment, while middle and secondary students assist with staff development, community schools, adult education, and Balwadis. Pathways has adopted seven village schools in nearby communities with funding for salaries, uniforms, books, meals, and infrastructure such as borewells and toilets. Regular student exchanges with village students are encouraged through sports and cultural programs. The Rotary Interact Club is part of Pathways' service initiatives.

Leadership and Professional

The Student Council is a student-led body that engages students in learning about democracy and leadership. It provides a platform for students to share opinions, generate ideas on issues affecting learning, wellbeing, and welfare, and to act as a voice for their class. Members hold leadership roles and pledge to serve the school community with responsibility and integrity. The College Advisory program supports college exploration, application management, and guidance for admissions.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Sports and fitness are a core part of daily life, with outdoor facilities including an Olympic-size soccer field, cricket pitch and nets, synthetic tennis and basketball courts, and an athletics track. Indoor options include a half Olympic-size swimming pool, glass squash courts, badminton, table tennis, chess, yoga, and a multi-use gymnasium.
