ALS provides inclusive support for social, emotional and psychological growth, with in-class support, remedial, prep and exam preparation. The ALS team mentors students, supports social development, and helps with dorm life where applicable. They work to strengthen peer relations and provide counseling as needed. Parents are engaged as partners in their child's development. Pathways' approach ties wellbeing to the school ethos of Learn, Work, Play, Think, LIVE.
ALS supports students with mild to moderate learning disabilities and those needing social and behavioral counseling, including ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia. Support is provided in-class, remedial, and during exam preparation, with a Specially Designed Education Programme devised by ALS teachers in collaboration with regular teachers. ALS Certification allows for applying for special consideration in Board Examinations. The school aims to mainstream many students into full school life and to develop self-esteem through classroom and school activities. Parents are engaged as partners in their child's development.
ES (English Support) addresses students who arrive with English language acquisition not adequate for mainstream classes. Students are identified during the interview process or within the first month and included in the programme at an appropriate level. They are acquiring English as an additional language. ES and ALS support require an additional fee as specified in the Fee Policy.
Pastoral care aims to equip students with the values and information necessary for living in an increasingly international society. Regular formative guidance is provided in class and Assembly on topics such as tobacco, alcohol and substance abuse. Guidance counselling is available, with personal guidance interviews and involvement of parents to support student wellbeing. The program emphasizes ongoing support for students' emotional and social development.
The school has a Child Protection Policy in place to safeguard students. The policy is accessible via the Parent Portal and school communications. The school is committed to safeguarding and welfare through staff training and policy implementation.
Pathways School Gurgaon is an IB Continuum day school on a 13-acre, LEED Platinum campus globally along the Faridabad–Gurgaon Road in Gurugram. It offers the full International Baccalaureate continuum: Primary Years Programme for Pre‑Nursery to Grade 5, Middle Years Programme for Grades 6 to 10, and either the Diploma Programme or Career-related Programme for Grades 11 and 12. It was the first IB Continuum School in India to offer all four programmes, supporting a consistent framework from early years through career pathways.
