It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Pathways World School Gurgaon was founded in 2003 by visionary entrepreneur Mr. Pramod K Jain and his sons, and is described as India's first day-cum-residential IB continuum school on a 32-acre LEED Platinum-certified campus. The school was envisioned as a model of educational excellence that introduced the International Baccalaureate Continuum from Early Years to the Diploma Programme. From that first campus, Pathways has grown into a network of five schools, united by the belief that education must constantly evolve. It is a Round Square member since 2010 and is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
Community is an integral part of Pathways, with the Community Service Programme ensuring students engage in service activities at least once a week. Pathways has adopted 14 village schools in the surrounding area, funding faculty salaries, uniforms, books, mid-day meals and other supplies, and has installed borewells and toilets for girls in those schools. Regular student exchanges between Pathways students and village students are encouraged through sports activities and cultural programmes. Interact clubs linked to Rotary International support youth service and leadership development.
Pathways Parent Partnership (PPP) is a collaboration of parents with the school to contribute to students' education and experiences and acts as a liaison between the parent community and the school. The PPP was founded formally in 2009 by primary school parents and gradually evolved to provide a forum for parents to share ideas and present their views to the Principal and School Management. PPP members undertook community service projects in government-adopted schools, including a water project, construction of toilets in girls' schools, and the setting up of computer labs, among other initiatives. The PPP also volunteers in the school's fundraising events and other extra-curricular events. The PPP represents a genuine partnership that fosters two-way communication between parents and school leadership.
