In 2012, the Shiv Nadar Foundation made its foray into urban K12 private education with a singular purpose – to breach and surpass the existing benchmarks in education, and bring the finest learning experiences to students. Learning at Shiv Nadar School is multidimensional and experiential, with a focus on creativity, innovation and holistic development; students are immersed in a learning process that emphasizes play, performance, experimentation and collaboration. The approach integrates experiential pedagogy and extensive use of technology, with a curricular emphasis on sports and the arts. Shiv Nadar School Noida hosts a range of community and cultural events as part of its learning culture. Investiture ceremonies celebrate student leadership, including the Investiture Ceremony AY 2024-25. Joy of Sharing is a philanthropy festival, and Pause for a Cause is a parent‑led initiative within the community. Kaafila, a celebration of the arts, has been organized as an inter‑school arts festival. Parents participate through established channels such as New Parent Orientation (AY 2024-25) and the Parent Representative Group under the Parent Partnership Office.
Shiv Nadar School Noida has a Parent Representative Group (PRG) that partners with the school through the Parent Partnership Office. The PRG operates within the Parent Partnership Office and drives parent involvement in school life. Induction and orientation programs for new parents are organized through the PRG. Partnership Series provides a platform for educators and parents to engage in discussions and collaboration. Kite Flying Festival 2020 and other parent‑led activities showcase the PRG's role in organizing community events.
Shiv Nadar School Noida is a co-educational day school. The Noida campus sits on a 6.5‑acre site and serves more than 2,000 students with a 1:9 teacher–student ratio, creating an intimate dynamic learning community within network. The school is affiliated with CBSE, IB programs at MYP and DP levels, and Cambridge IGCSE, delivering a diverse, oriented curriculum. IGCSE runs in Grades 9 and 10 with English as the compulsory language and options in Hindi, Sanskrit, French and Spanish; the IB MYP covers eight subject groups and languages including Hindi, French, Spanish and German; the DP is available in Grades 11 and 12.
